We were engaged by a Construction Management company on behalf of a German based manufacturer of Paper and Corrugated Cardboard to carry out all Partitions, Linings, Ceilings and Plastering works on a new extension to an existing production facility, close to the Manchester Ship Canal in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. This was our second project in quick succession to be undertaken during the early days of the global Covid-19 pandemic, when sourcing certain materials (particularly Plaster Skim!) was probably at the most challenging levels any of us have ever experienced in our industry (to say the least). However, with the help of our dedicated site team and our supply chain partners we were still able to get the job over the line within the Main Contract programme and keeping inside the tight budget constraints.
